Independent Trucks

The Independent Truck Company, or “Indy’s” as they have come to be known, was founded in, 1978, by Richard Novak, Jay Shiurman, Fausto Vitello and Eric Swenson. The Stage 1 truck being their first product, was a response to the opinion at the time that there were no good skateboard trucks in the market in the late ’70s. Since then Independent trucks have become a staple component of skateboarding, they have become known for their durability and their consistent performance. Independent boast a huge list of pro skateboarders that endorse the brand from all generations, such as Tony Alva, Steve Olson, Sebo Walker, Andrew Reynolds, Chris Haslam, Geoff Rowley, Louie Lopez and Jim Greco to name just a few.
