Chrome Industries was born out of necessity, in a garage in Boulder, Colorado 1995 producing backpacks and messenger bags. From this starting point, the company was relocated to San Francisco, where they soon developed a community with their first retail store, followed by new locations in Portland, Chicago and even as far afield as Tokyo. Through their use of military grade materials and the innovation of their quick release branded buckle used in products such as the Kadet messenger bag, Chrome has built a solid reputation for quality and durability. Following their own philosophy of ‘Living the City,’ Chrome has been producing quality goods for over two decades, making products for people who want to grab life by the horns or the handlebars and hold on for the ride.
