Magenta Skateboards
Magenta Skateboards is a European skate brand that was founded in Paris by Soy Panday and brothers Vivien and Jean Feil in 2010. The project was started to uphold the long tradition of legitimate European brands that represent the EU culture, skate scenes and video style that sets the region apart distinctively from its American counterparts. Over the initial period of the brand’s existence, their unique way of doing things has attracted attention from major established brands such as Adidas, Etnies and Nike. The result of which has been some really high profile product collaborations that really put Magenta on the map. The product itself is scrutinised thoroughly before it is sent to market, which ensures the brand is as high quality as possible, a character that has won them a lot of fans worldwide. The design takes cues from 90’s “sports-inspired” skate product and the cultural surrounding of Paris and Bordeaux. Magenta release seasonal collections that consist of skateboard decks and wheels plus a comprehensive range of cut and sew items such as hoodies, shirts, t-shirts and trousers.
