Plan B
Plan B Skateboards was launched after Mike Ternasky parted ways with Tony Magnusson and left the legendary H-Street in 1991. As soon as it launched, Plan B was an immediate hit as a result of the seminal skate film “Questionable” release the same year. Ternasky had brought together one of the best skateboarders of the moment, some of whom would go on to become legends in their own right such as Danny Way, Colin McKay, Rodney Mullen, Pat Duffy, Sean Sheffy, Rick Howard, Mike Carroll, Matt Hensley, Pat Duffy and Sal Barbier. In 1994, Mike Ternasky was tragically killed in a car accident and over the next 4 years, the brand lost its way without his guidance. Danny and Colin were too busy with their professional skateboarding careers so the decision was made to shelve the brand in 1998. After a 7 year hiatus, Plan B was finally relaunched in 2005 under new ownership and with a new bread of super pros representing the brand, which has since gone from strength to strength and is now one of the major forces in the skateboard industry.
