Polar Skate Co.
Polar Skate Co. was founded in Malmo, Sweden by professional skateboarder Pontus Alv and started out as a skate crew which naturally evolved into a brand in 2011. Pontus is responsible for the aesthetic of Polar Skateboards, being both the art director (often creating graphics himself) and video editor. Known for using timeless Joy Division tracks and having a team that encapsulates the vibe the brand brings, it’s not hard to see how Polar Skate Co. has become one of the leading European brands in skateboarding over the past few years. With great graphics, amazing vibes and an aesthetic that can’t be matched, Polar is a Euro brand that can happily compete with any of the massive US companies.
