Emerica Shoes was launched in 1996 by parent company Sole Technology Inc. to provide an alternative to the skateboard footwear available at the time. The focus for Emerica was strictly on core skateboarding and saw them partner with some legendary skateboarders such as Andrew Reynolds, Ed Templeton, Brandon Westgate, Jamie Thomas, Jerry Hsu and many more. Over the years Emerica has maintained a solid core following and continues to build shoes specifically for skateboarding that both perform well and also exhibit styling that is in line with the brand’s aesthetic DNA.
