Creature Skateboards

Creature skateboards started out in 1994 launched by SMA’s then team manager, Russ Pope. Early team riders were Jason Adams, Barker Barrett, and Darren Navarrette, although it soon dwindled with the departure of Adams and Pope, forcing Creature to be put on the back burner until its resurgence in the 2000’s, with Darren Navarrette and Lee Charron at the helm of creative direction and team management. Creature, with their stand out graphics style, soon became synonymous with the darker, ‘hesh’ side of skateboarding, with a full speed ‘ride or die’ attitude from pros like Willis Kimbel, David Gravette, Kevin Baekkel and Stu Graham.
