Lakai

Lakai Footwear is the brainchild of Mike Carroll and Rick Howard, wanting to leave their current shoe sponsor and take a new direction. Established in 1999, Lakai has since been responsible for producing some well know shoes and established the company as one of the most legitimate skateboarding footwear brands in the market. They are also credited with producing some high-profile skateboard films such as The Final Flare, The Flare, and the most famous of all Fully Flared. Current riders include; Mike Carroll, Rick McCrank, Vincent Alvarez, Tony and Riley Hawk and Stevie Perez. From a product perspective, Lakai is always innovating and their iconic “Flare” logo can be seen on most of their shoe designs.
