Habitat Skateboards
Habitat Skateboards was founded in 2000 by Joe Castrucci as a more environmentally minded, sister company to Alien Workshop. Habitat skateboards have been an incredibly popular brand since it was introduced to the skateboarding world, with influential riders such as Fred Gall and Brian Wenning absolutely destroying the east coast scene at the time. Not only have they had one of the best crews in skateboarding over the years, but they have also been one of the first companies to try and make skateboarding slightly more eco-friendly. Previously experimenting with alternative materials such as bamboo, cork and hemp for their decks, as well as using water-based glues. Not only do the graphics often exude an eco-friendly image, but this is also a brand that genuinely cares.
