In 1987 Powell Peralta released the seminal skateboard move The Search for Animal Chin was released. Quickly becoming a cult classic among the skateboard community, The Search for Animal Chin defined a generation of skateboarders. The closing scene of the movie features the most progressive vert ramp built at that time, an absolute monster that had a vert spine, yes, a vert spine! Not to mention a mini ramp on the deck and a plethora of channels and extensions.
This was the setting for a session that made history, 4 of the best skateboards of the late 80’s and members of Powell Peralta‘s “Bones Brigade” Tony Hawk, Steve Caballero, Mike McGill and Lance Mountain rode the ramp in a way that ways completely ground breaking. Nearly 30 yours on those 4 guys have come back together, with the help of Ride Channel, to recreate the iconic 4 man hand plant.
