Cliche
After his successful US career skating for New Deal in the early ’90s, Jeremie Daclin decided to move back home to France and start his own skateboard company, Cliché, rather than the easier route of laying the groundwork in America. Due to its clearly European vibe and world-class team, the brand set itself apart from other US brands at the time. With this, Cliché quickly became one of the very first skateboard companies based outside the USA able to gain enough attention to pay its riders a wage without having to move to California. After years of amazing skate videos, product releases and influencing kids across both Europe and America, Cliché sadly went away in 2017. However, in 2026, Cliché is back, and with OG rider JB Gillet back on the team, as well as UK ripper Kyron Davis, we hope they don’t go away again anytime soon.
