The New Balance Numeric 440 is a low-profile skate shoe with lineage tracing back to New Balance’s heritage of classic, 70’s style running shoes. adopting this as a starting point the New Balance team have developed a shoe that whilst it has design cues from original runners, exhibits its own specific look and feel, that is in line with what a modern skateboarder expects from a shoe. The 440 has the board feel of a vulcanized shoe with the impact protection of a cupsole, this not only increases performance, making the 440 not only comfortable but also extremely functional.
