Deus Ex Machina’s Tokyo Address chapter was opened in 2014 in the vibrant area of Harajuku. Built from the ground up from a building that had been partly demolished, Deus had the opportunity to create something quite special. As with all their locations, Tokyo serves as a hub for the local community with its cafe serving coffee and entertaining regulars with it’s a mix of unique atmosphere and design aesthetic. On-site you can also find a full-service custom surfboard shaper bay manned by the resident in house shaper Takuya ‘Tappy’ Yoshikawa. In addition, there is a full motorcycle workshop that overlooks the bustling cafe area from a mezzanine. This place truly represents the Deus Ex Machina brand and the vibrance that the Tokyo address brings to its community and the custom clothing available that carries its name.
