Arbor was founded in 1995 originally as a snowboard company with the goal of creating the most environmentally focused products in the industry. They were way ahead of their time this ethos the importance of which cannot be understated. Arbor soon because the market leader of the environmentally-conscious consumer and developed a strong following in the snowboard community. They are committed to using the proceeds from the sale of their products to fund the preservation of indigenous forests and giving back much more than is responsibly take out during manufacture. This approach was also applied to the launch of the Arbor Skateboards program and continued the commitment to use sustainable materials and manufacturing practices that minimise the impact on the environment.
