New Balance Numeric
In 2013, the footwear brand New Balance launched their skateboarding division under the sub-brand New Balance Numeric. The collection is built on solid foundations, using the technical know-how offered by their rich design heritage that is fused with technology developed specifically for skateboard shoes. Using their extensive product back catalogue as a starting point, the New Balance Numeric product has been developed as a standalone range of footwear, using design cues from some of their most successful shoes such as the 574 and 420. This result is skate-specific styles that align perfectly with the classic brand DNA such as the 508 by Brandon Westgate and the incredibly popular 306 by Jamie Foy. On top of this, they have developed signature products from the likes of PJ Ladd and Arto Saari, and are supported by their skateboard team which also includes Tom Knox, Jake Hayes, Tiago Lemos, Andrew Reynolds, Franky Villani, and Jordan Taylor.
