Thunder Trucks have different truck sizes that are designed to be compatible with various sizes of skateboard decks. Size 147 trucks have an axle length of 8″ and so is designed to fit a skateboard deck of width range 7.90 – 8.12″. Using the appropriately sized truck means you do not experience too much overhang or underhang. This ensures that your trucks ride as they were designed to do, giving you the correct geometry for the size of board you are riding.
